Nice Weather for Airstrikes Live Music Festival

Just after you thought that the Brighton Festival Fringe is coming to an end and you’d seen all the live music that you could because you’ve been to The Great Escape....

FEAR NOT!

We’re just sorting out the last minute preparations for our Nice Weather for Airstrikes Records Festival which takes place over 28 -31 May

Nice Weather for Airstrikes have been drinking in the pub for a long time, you may know them, and last year they came to us with the idea of putting live music on during the Brighton Festival Fringe, we obliged and we now host a very successful festival. This year we have even been shown interest from Local brewery Dark Star who are making us our own ale for the event (news to come about this later this week).

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday see the best in the local post-rock scene come and toe tap and do the monster shuffle from 8pm till 1am (with DJ’s till 3am).

The festival has grown and is now four days long, the Bank Holiday Monday is now an all day soundscape and acoustic stage with the music starting from 3pm.

In our opinion the main bands to get down for are: Codes in the Clouds on the Sunday and Shapes Saturday night. Friday night sees Last Days of Lorca headline who are firm favourites in the pub.
